Is the Callaway 300 Pro Rangefinder Easy To Use?
When I first got this rangefinder, i was surprised at how simple it was to use. That’s how it should be though when there is only 2 buttons. In my review, I noticed the Callaway 300 Pro was very light and compact, which fit well in my hand.
It ranges in both meters and yards, depending on what unit of measurment you prefer as well, which is a nice touch.
Accuracy
I compared the accuracy of the rangefinder to GPS technology, and I found that it was within 1 yard everytime. One of my favorite features of the Callaway 300 Pro is the pin acquistion technology, which sends a short vibration to your hands to signal that you are locked on the pin.
Maximum Distance
In my review, I was able to range targets up to 750 yards. Although it might be unnecessary to range something that far away, it is convenient to know that the Callaway 300 Pro has the potential to.
Callaway 300 Pro Optics
The optics of the rangefinder are great for the price. It has 6x zoom, and optic adjustability depending on your eyes.
Does it have slope adjustment?
Yes! The the rangefinder has slope adjustment that is automatically calculated when you are trying to find yardages of elevated greens and bunkers. If you are in a tournament however, you can very easily turn off the slope feature by moving the button up to show red.
Material Quality of the Callaway 300 Pro Rangefinder
DURABILITY
The material quality of the Callaway 300 Pro Rangefinder is very high for the price point. With Callaway being as reputable as they are, I am certain they wouldn’t produce a low quality product. I have been using the rangefinder for 3 months now, and have honestly abused it.
You can see in the image above that there a bit of scuffs and scrapes, but for $200 you can’t complain. I have dropped it on concrete, chucked it on the ground after a bad shot, and it has held up just fine!
What Does it come with?
When you purchase the rangefinder, you’ll get a carrying case as well as instructions as to how to use it. It is very straight forward.
OTHER FEatures
One of my favorite features of the is the high quality magnet on the side of it. This makes it easy to attach to the side of the golf cart, and doesn’t fall of through the course of 18 holes.

Put simply, if you don’t want to break the bank on a rangefinder, the Callaway 300 Pro is the perfect option. Callaway is a reputable company, and very few people leave bad reviews.
With that being said, the $200 price point is very fair, and I can guarantee you’ll love the rangefinder. I definitely will keep it in my bag.
